Carver x Bing 37″ Continental Deck With Sugarcoat
Bing Copeland began surfing at the Manhattan Beach pier in 1949 at age 13, and by the fall of 1959 he had opened his first surf shop with his friend Rick Stoner. Bing Surfboards quickly became one of the most influential surfboard manufactures of the sixties and early seventy’s, renowned for its expert craftsmanship. From his magic nose riders for legends like David Nuuhiwa, to his work with the Campbell Brothers and the introduction of the Bonzer, one of the most unique and enduring designs of the 60’s, his influence on surfing is profound. Bing Surfboards has gone through many changes throughout the years, but it has always remained true to the roots of surfing. Under the expert guidance of master shaper Matt Calvani, Bing Surfboards continues to refine classic nose riding boards and create innovative modern surf craft. Their logo remains one of the most iconic and recognizable in all of surfing, and Carver is proud to collaborate with such an icon.
A true classic surfskate, The 37” Bing Continental is the longest board in Carver’s lineup, with a super wide template for easy and stable cruising, cross stepping, and nose riding. Experience the feeling of longboard surfing on pavement! This timeless design is a must have for any Carver quiver. Inspired by the glide and control of its surfboard counterpart, the Continental’s 21.25″ wheelbase is long enough to flow smoothly for cross stepping, but with Carver’s renowned CX and C7 truck systems, remain very maneuverable. Complete with top graphics and Sugarcoat grip for that ‘waxed longboard’ look, this exclusive collaboration lets you embrace the freedom of the streets while capturing the spirit of the ocean.

Carver Grain C7 Surfskate Skateboard
We love wood, the way it flexes underfoot and springs back with a snap, and we dig the grain patterns that form when you slice a ringed log into flat sheets. This moire pattern is like the thumbprint of a tree, its encoded identity. It also makes us laugh when we consider that we’re printing wood grain ontop of natural grain, creating faux/real mashup. This dark wooden simulacra highlights the beautiful patterning of grain as a bold image layered atop the warm amber tone of clear maple.
