The Instigator is the latest design in NSP’s line of dedicated Surf SUP boards, tested by Ty Judson and the International Team riders.

With its curvy rocker, squash tail, and hard tail edges the concave acts to straighten the curve along the stringer creating a board that is blisteringly fast but has a short turning arc that wants to go vertical and fit into hollower waves.

The NSP Sonic Pro Carbon, with its recessed shape, will allow you to effortlessly link bump after bump.
The NSP Sonic is our pure open-water, downwind race board that also performs exceptionally well in crosswind and upwind conditions.These boards perform at their best when you hit some chop or string together bump after a bump on ocean swell.
Design
- The evolution of the Sonic focuses on increasing stability by lowering the center of gravity and adopting the tail shape of the incredibly efficient Carolina race board.
- By lowering the center of gravity riders are able to choose a more narrow board, in turn leading to an increase in speed.
- We adopted the tail shape of the Carolina, our most versatile race board. The flattish-square tail allows you to push over the bumps in the open ocean swell, while on the flats, the tail sits higher in the water, generating more planning speed.
- Inside the cockpit, exclusively in the standing area, we cut out the rails in key areas to enable a wider stance. This subtle tweak rewards riders with additional stability and more comfort. Stability allows riders to focus on winning instead of compensating, especially when riding off the back of the board.
- If you are committed to racing, improving your personal best and downwind skills; choose what our pros race and pick a 22”. For anyone else we recommend the 24.25” with the width and stability to keep you onboard and get you across the finish line early.

The Cruiser HIT is ideal for paddlers wanting an all-around, family-friendly durable paddleboard. We used the new and ultra-durable High-Impact Technology (H.I.T.) to create a new recreational shape. What we built is a more durable and easy-to-use paddleboard for heavy-duty use.
WS stands for Windsurfing
The 11’6” WS doesn’t just have a mast insert, it comes with a full-sized mast rail, so you can tune your rig. And unlike the regular 11’6”, the WS version features a daggerboard and a hybrid fin for effortless upwind navigation.
Windsurf the Cruiser HIT
All Cruiser HIT sizes feature an insert for a single mast base position, but the WS version comes with an additional full-size mast track, a daggerboard and a 9″ Hybrid fin. Riders who have a sail quiver or venues with a collection of sails can now take full advantage of their Cruiser HIT, whether it’s windy or the conditions are perfect for paddling.
Proven Shape
To develop the Cruiser HIT, we worked on a proven shape from the successful Elements range and improved the outline, rail and bottom shapes for a better glide over flat water. This directly affects the allround paddling performance for everyday use, but with some key design characteristics, accomplished paddlers will also appreciate taking this Cruiser HIT into small and medium- waves.
Designed for heavy use:
We know some paddlers require boards that are more durable, safer and bring additional key features to the table; that is why we created the Cruiser HIT. The enlarged hole on the nose is a smart design feature that allows owners to quickly use a single steel cable to secure all boards at the end of the day.
The full EVA deck allows beginners to safely explore the balance of the board, plus it is comfortable on the knees for those who are not quite ready yet to stand up.
A standing guide, bungee chords to secure personal floatation devices and additional reinforcements of the rails protect HIT boards from paddle impact and general knocks.
If you have windy conditions, consider the WS version of the Cruiser HIT as the daggerboard and full-sized mast track make for a better windsurfer than the regular Cruiser; instead of the M8 mast screw inserts, it features a mast rail as well.
